Use the Right Redirect
| Redirect | Typical Purpose |

| 301 | Permanent redirect |

Redirect Chains
A redirect chain occurs when URL A redirects to URL B and URL B redirects to URL C. Whenever possible, redirect the original URL directly to the final destination.
